My Teaching Philosophy:
I believe in the value and worth of every child. I believe that every child can learn and thrive given the right environment, encouragement, and appropriate educational practices. I believe that children learn best in a supportive, encouraging, and safe environment. I feel that teachers must teach the whole child, focusing on academic, physical, emotional and social needs. I feel it is very important to foster a sense of internationalism and to bring the world into the classroom.

Destinations visited:
I've lived and traveled in South America, Eastern and Western Europe and Africa, and have also traveled to China. Though we've traveled all over the world, we enjoy exploring and getting to know the places that we live wherever they are.
An interesting tidbit about me: Stan and I met in Brazil, dated in the US, got married in Zaire and set up housekeeping in Poland! We raised our children overseas.
Biggest ambition: I would love to retire in the south of France!
