The Board of Directors of the Wisconsin International School (WIS) unanimously confirmed Mary Vanden Busch as the new Head of School, effective July 1, 2011
Mrs. Vanden Busch has more than 30 years of teaching, curriculum development, school administration and leadership experience in a wide variety of settings, most recently with Notre Dame Elementary and Middle Schools of De Pere where she served as principal for eight years, She received her B.A. Degree from St. Norbert College in De Pere, her M.R.E (masters in Religious Education) From Loyola University in Chicago and her M.Ed. (Masters in Educational Leadership) from Marian University in Fond du Lac. In addition to her education experience, Mrs. Vanden Busch also served as the President of the Diocesan Association of School Administrators as well as Chairperson of the Accreditation Team for the Association of Wisconsin Religious and Independent Schools. The Green Bay Diocese also honored Mrs. Vanden Busch with a nomination for National Principal of the Year in 2008.
