WIS offers a lunch program utilizing local restaurants to give parents and students an option from a lunch from home. There is an additional fee for this.
Mondays and Wednesdays are catered by Erberts & Gerberts. Tuesdays and Thursdays are catered by Big Apple Bagel. Fridays are pizza day from Godfather's Pizza. Generally, a fruit or vegetable is provided along with a cookie or chips.
Every couple of months order forms are sent home and students may order what ever they would like in the order period - i.e. one lunch, all 20 or so lunches, or just the pizza. All food is prepaid.
Separate from the meals, a small carton of milk may be ordered, too. Even with these choices, many students bring lunch from home.
Starting in 4K, students each lunch in the lunchroom on the lower level. 3K and toddler students enjoy lunch in their classrooms.
