Throughout the first school year, WIS parents had an opportunity to respond to 3 different anonymous surveys prepared by Stanley Way, Head of School. The goal was to gauge parent satisfaction and the school's performance in meeting expectations.
Here is a brief recap that was communicated to the WIS parents in July 2009:
Over 97% of WIS parents were generally, very, or extremely satisfied with the education their children received at WIS for the 2008-2009 school year! Bravo, WIS!
Even more phenomenal are the results of the questions about recommending WIS teachers to prospective parents. Again, over 97% of WIS parents answered yes about recommending our homeroom teachers. Moreover, parents said yes 85% of the time for our specialist teachers. Our teachers deserve a standing ovation!
These statistics come from our May 2009 parent survey, which 71% of our families completed.
